Valentine from the Pantry

Join us for a unique afternoon creating a beautiful one-of-a-kind Valentine with local animal artist Leslee Ortega.  Featuring the threatened Black Bear, Ursus americanus, we'll use watercolor paint made from pantry items such as coffee, paprika and turmeric, adorn with real pressed flowers and finish our project a recycled cardboard frame. Each participant will personalize his or her own project. Beginners are welcome and all materials are provided. This workshop is held at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Santuary n McKinney Texas.
